Dennis Johnson
Managing Director of Accounting and Tax at The Sharp Financial Group

Dennis Johnson is the Managing Director of Accounting and Tax at The Sharp Financial Group, an integrated financial management firm based in Horsham, PA. Sharp provides a holistic service offering that combines Accounting, Tax, Business Advisory and Wealth Management to help entrepreneurs and private business owners align their business and personal financial goals. 

Dennis brings over 20 years of finance and accounting experience in both public accounting and private industry. His public accounting experience at Arthur Andersen and Elko Fischer McCabe & Rudman (now Wipfli) included audit, tax and consulting projects with companies ranging from small to medium sized private businesses to large public companies. In the private sector, Dennis spent over 15 years at Airgas, Inc., a $6B industrial gas company. His experience at Airgas included leadership roles in Internal Audit, as CFO of a $500M subsidiary and as Director of Corporate Development, a group which completed over 450 M&A transactions. He also led the financial integration and SAP implementation related to a $13B global merger. 

Dennis is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Scranton and an MBA from LaSalle University. 

In his free time, Dennis enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and skiing. An avid Philadelphia sports fan, he is also actively involved in youth athletics and enjoys coaching his kids’ soccer, basketball and baseball teams.
